Automotive Career Opportunity

The Ford ASSET (Automotive Student Service Education Training) program at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) is an automotive training program for individuals wishing to start a career in the automotive field, specifically at a Ford Motor Co. dealership.

This is an internship/co-op program where students spend half of each semester working at a dealership learning skills from master technician and getting paid to do so. The other half is spent in class at the DMACC Ankeny campus. Upon completion students will earn an AAS degree and receive Ford Motor Co. certifications.

Ford/Lincoln dealerships in your area are looking for trained individuals to work in their service departments, and are willing to hire and sponsor a student in the next Ford ASSET class. If students are interested in automotive and would like to start their career while going to college, please visit their website.
