CRIMINAL JUSTICE CAREER DAY


Do you have an interest in Corrections or Law Enforcement? This day is for you! Join in hands-on workshops in facilities that cover many aspects of a Criminal Justice career: Shooting simulators, campus tours, K-9 presentations, crime scenes, and more!

Summer 2015 Institutes

It's crazy to think that it's time to begin thinking of summer 2015 academic opportunities! High School Summer Institutes at Washington University in St. Louis combine traditional undergraduate class and lab curriculum with organized field trips, guest lectures, and hands-on activities in order for you to gain valuable academic and career experience. Check out their program emphases, they may be appealing to you!

College Visit to the University of Northern Iowa!

Students - a great college visit opportunity awaits you! 
On Friday, November 21st, SLHS students in grades 9-12 have the opportunity to go on a school-sponsored college visit to the University of Northern Iowa! College visits are one of the best methods for identifying your likes and dislikes and narrowing down your college options! If you are interested in attending on November 21st (no school day), please sign-up with me by Friday, October 31st!
